Our Young Scientists at Abuja Preparatory School
will be hosting its maiden Science fair Exhibition at the School premises on
Saturday the 11th of November 2014 from 11.00am.
It is the week of Science and Peace so come one
come all and experience this investigative and explorative exposition at the school.
Children and the entire community are encouraged to appreciate the importance
of Science in the peaceful nature of our present world.
Experiments will be carried out on various
aspects of life including health and exercise, animals and what we eat (food).
The children will have the opportunity to apply
scientific methods to conduct independent researches. The result of each
child’s research will be presented at the Fair; the children’s efforts will be
displayed and assessed to determine the scientific merit. Children who have
been judged to have used the scientific method properly and who have
demonstrated thoroughness in their studies and efforts will be awarded prizes.
The benefits of this project goes way beyond
learning science, it is amazing fun!!!!!!
